It’s not everyday you get to take the portrait of someone whose work you admire. Meet Ken, a Jamaican living in West Philadelphia, who is a community activist through his photography. If you don’t follow him on IG, please do. His work is phenomenal especially his series, From the Root to the Fruit: Black Fathers & Their Children.
He is doing a residency at the Neighborhood Time Exchange (a collaboration between the Mural Arts Philadelphia and Peoples Emergency Center) in West Philadelphia through June 2018 and if you are ever in West Philly stop into the Neighborhood Time Exchange and meet the artists there.
