3 Things to Consider When Getting Professional Headshots & Headshots of Ursula

traci A delisser July 25, 2019

I was honored when my Instagram friend, Ursula reached out to me for professional headshots for her company website. As she is a photographer herself, I was a bit nervous but we spent close to an hour walking Rittenhouse, chatting and bonding in between snapping photos.

I am sharing a few along with …

3 Things to Consider before getting Professional Headshots

  1. The age of your current Headshots. As you change your hair, lose weight, change your professional, so too should you change your headshot. Your headshot should be an accurate depiction of the current you.

  2. Natural Light Headshot vs Studio Headshot. In studio headshots tend to be more streamlined with clean plain backgrounds but natural headshots on-locations present an opportunity to showcase your personality.

  3. Bring a change of jacket or a scarf or accessory to a headshot session [or change up your hair], so that you end up with a diverse set of images.
