6 Places to Take Lifestyle Photos in the Fort Washington, PA Area

traci A delisser August 13, 2019

Fall is quickly approaching and it is a great time to take lifestyle photos in the midst of beautiful Fall foliage of oranges, yellow and reds.

A few local locations I love are:

1 Maple Acres Farm in Plymouth Meeting - This location is pretty late summer as well as the zinnias are in bloom (picking your own flowers is a great activity for beautiful images) but in the Fall, there are pumpkin picking and displays. The farm has a great variety of animals as well. They do charge a photo permit fee of $10.

2. Fort Washington State Park - With so many areas and nook and crannies including a playground.

3. Highland Mansions grounds - The mansion has gorgeous garden with a greenhouse. They do however charge a photography permit fee of $50.

4. Curtis Arboretum in Cheltenham is a large property with varied scenery.

5. Morris Arboretum - This is a nice location but the price of admission is pricey ($20/adults and $10/children 3-17) .

6. Wissahickon Park / Forbidden Drive - One can not go wrong with lush trails, paths and the Wissahickon Creek.
